Mr. Lee Pickler of New Technology Investments, Inc. (NTI) and Mr. Scott Bigler, of Visual Online Data in Newport, Tennessee, announced today that Visual Online Data has been acquired by New Technology Investments, Inc. of Albemarle, NC.
In a statement regarding the acquisition, Mr. Pickler said "Our entire team at New Technology Investments, Inc. is excited about this opportunity to provide web based solutions to manufacturing, warehousing and distribution companies." Visual Online Data's flagship product, "Visual Inventory", is a web based application with hundreds of installations and allows users to access, monitor, and maintain inventory from any web browser. Additionally Mr. Pickler explained that "Web based, software as a service solution, allows companies to quickly benefit from a software solution while requiring little if any setup and support from IT personnel".
Visual Online Data will continue to be operated as a separate company with focus on providing web based inventory, asset and tracking applications to be sold through qualified business partners and should immediately help New Technology Investments gain entry to the growing market for web based software solutions.
New Technology Investments, Inc. has been in business for over 11 years and also owns ScanOnline Data Solutions which is a hardware and software solutions provider of inventory and asset tracking systems that utilize bar code and RFID technologies for Fortune 1000 clients throughout the United States.
